This guide provides links to important tools for discovering archival resources related to Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia. Links to the National Archives for countries of the region appear in the left column. The center column presents major databases of archival materials and electronic archive guides. The right column provides links to printed (and CD-ROM) resources for discovering and exploring collections.

Access to Russian Archives is an online database containing descriptions of approximately 80,000 archival fonds (record groups) from more than 20 guidebooks on Russian federal archives and 40 regional archives published from 1987 to 2004.
