Finding contemporary poetry can require a little ingenuity since current author's works are often too new to be well-known or renowned.
Try using a subject heading search in our catalog.
The subject heading American Poetry -- 21st century, for example, will lead you to a list of books by poets of the 21st century.
Also try using a keyword search such as "South African poetry" which will lead to books with a variety of useful subject headings such as South African poetry (English)--21st century.
If KU Libraries doesn't carry a title you need -- remember you can request it through InterLibrary Borrowing or submit a Suggest a Purchase request if you believe the book is essential for our library collections.
