  • Han da wen ku (Chinese Ancient Texts or CHANT ) 漢逹文庫

    Created by the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. CHANT includes texts originating from antiquity to late 6th century, and excavated texts consisting of oracle bone inscriptions from the Shang Dynasty and bamboo and silk manuscripts from the Han Dynasty.

    The largest and authoritative Chinese full text database for the study of pre-modern China. IE browser recommended. Click on "授權使用" button to access the database.

    The electronic version of the Wenyuange edition of Siku Quanshu which includes searchable text and original page images. The database is a collection of 3,460 Chinese classical works in 36,000 volumes, which includes works on philosophy, history, literature and art, political systems, social studies, economics, astronomy and geography, mathematics, medical studies, technology, etc.
