Agency Websites

Agency websites have their own websites, whcih are often helpful, for instance the EPA. All federal agency websites are listed at USA.gov.

Oversight by Congress

Oversight committee hearings and agency reports to Congress can be illuminating.

The library catalog can help you locate oversight hearings.

The Serial Set is an extensive historical collection of legislative documents beginning in 1817. Its history is outlined by the Government Publishing Office here.
