Foreign languages 'dire' and 'fragile'.Education Journal. 2/15/2013, Issue 153, p1-1. 1p.
Abstract: The article focuses on the report issued by the British Academy that explores the foreign language provision at schools and universities, in the jobs market and the population as a whole in Great Britain. It states that most of the foreign language provision is in Spanish, German and French. The rarity for university students to take degrees, combining languages with vocational or STEM subjects, is also emphasized.
