SPLH 660: Research Methods: How to find journal articles

Identifies resources to assist in searching the biomedical literature in the areas of speech-language-hearing.

Searching for a journal title

You may have a citation and want to find out if the Libraries has the journal.

Example:

The quickest way is to use the "E-journals" search option on the left side of the Libraries' web site and search for "Neuropsychology Review."

Get at KU

When searching the databases such as PubMed or PsycINFO, you will see the Get at KU image attached to the citations.  When searching Google Scholar, just the text, Get at KU, appears.

Get at KU acts as a bridge between the database and the Libraries' online subscriptions.  It is a quick way to connect to the full text of the article, if available.

Clicking on the Get at KU image leads you to the following where article links will appear if the library has a subscription to the full text journal.
