Obtaining Scores

The Music & Dance Library's collection includes tens of thousands of scores in a variety of instrumentations. If you need help finding a scores in the library, our staff would be happy to help. If there is a piece that is not available at the library, you can request to borrow it from another library via Interlibrary Loan. You can also suggest a score for the library to buy by emailing the Performing Arts Librarian.

Searching by Name

Searching the library collection using the Advance Search.

Finding scores by a specific composer:

  • Select the filter "Author/creator"
  • Enter the composer name
  • Select the filter "Type"
  • Select the type "Music Scores"
    • Note: you can also find recordings by selecting the type "Audio," "Video," or Streaming Media"

Finding books, articles, etc. about a specific composer:

  • Select the filter "Subject"
  • Enter the composer name
