Languages of Chad

Sara

This is a major language spoken by the Sara people inhabiting Chad, particularly concentrated in the southern regions of Lake Chad. It is within the Central Sudanic branch of the Nilo-Saharan family of languages.

Mundang

This is a language spoken by inhabitants of southwestern regions of Chad, particularly concentrated in the Mayo-Kebbi Ouest Region. It is within the Atlantic branch of the Niger-Congo family of languages.

Swahili

Lunda

This is a Bantu-based creole language spoken by people inhabiting the northwestern region to the capital of DRC.

Kongo

This is a creole language originating from inhabitants of Western DRC.

Fang

This is a dominant multidialectal language spoken by the Fang people inhabiting the mainland of Equatorial Guinea, particularly concentrated in the Centro Sur, Kié-Ntem, Litoral, and Wele-Nzas provinces. It is within the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo family of languages.

Bubi

This is a language spoken by the Bubi people inhabiting the Bioko Island of Equatorial Guinea, particularly concentrated in the capital of Malabo. It is within the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo family of languages.

Banda

Gbaya

This is a major multidialectal language spoken by the Gbaya inhabiting the southwestern regions of the Central African Republic. It is within the Adamawa-Ubangi branch of the Niger-Congo family of languages.
