ADHO Digital Humanities Conference
Annual conference hosted by the Association of Digital Humanities Organizations since 1990. One of the largest international digital humanities conferences. In 2014 the conference will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland.

THATCamp
THATCamp (The Humanities And Technology Camp) is a user-generated "unconference" for technologists and humanities professionals, including university and college faculty, librarians and archivists, and museum staff. Participants set the agenda for work and discussion on the fly, and the focus is on participation, discussion, and sharing of information. The THATCamp concept was founded at the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University in 2008, and there are now many THATCamps taking place around the world.

Funding and grant opportunities


The National Endowment for the Humanities--Office of Digital Humanities provides a variety of funding opportunities for individual scholars and collaborative teams.


KU's Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities provides (1) seed grants to encourage KU faculty and academic staff to plan or pilot a collaborative project using digital technologies; (2) course development grants to KU faculty to develop digital humanities courses; and (3) travel grants to enable KU facultly and academic staff to attend digital humanities conferences or workshops.

Since its inception in April 2007, centerNet has over 200 members worldwide and has formed regional affiliates in Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and the United Kingdom and Ireland. Initiatives include developing cooperative opportunities for centers, advocacy for center funding and initiatives, and creating exchange and research opportunities for scholars and students.

DH Commons: an initiative of centerNet, DHCommons is a hub for people and organizations to find projects to work with, and for projects to find collaborators.
