The History of Black Writing

The History of Black Writing is an interactive research center designed to expose students, instructors, and audiences to reading literature by Black authors and its study.

J. Wayne and Elsie M. Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction (CSSF) 

The CSSF is dedicated to research and education in genres such as science fiction, fantasy, Afrofuturism, fabulist fiction, horror, fan fiction, speculative poetry, neo-Gothic narratives, and posthumanism.

Each year the Spencer Museum selects a Common Work of Art to provide a visual pairing with the KU Common Book.
