Orientation manual and materials for Public Service Staff

Regents Center Library

Collections:  Primarily electronic access to scholarly journal articles and reference materials.  Small book collection.  The Regents Center Library provides access to the Lawrence campus circulating collections for Edwards campus students, faculty, and staff.  Students taking classes at the Edwards campus and faculty and staff teaching and/or working there may enter requests for library materials through a combination of Retrieve from Shelf, Recall, and WebRetrieve processes.

Call numbers (always check the Library Catalog to confirm shelving locations):  Selected Library of Congress numbers as needed.

Services:  Library faculty and staff provide a combination of user assistance, circulation, research help, and instruction services.  Accept and process applications for the KU Library Borrower Card.

Where to return library materials:  Inside the library or at the outdoor return located outside the front of the Regents Center Building.

Also at the Regents Center Library:  KU students, faculty, and staff may pick up new KU Cards that were issued on the Edwards Campus at this library.
