Documentary film "The Birth of Sake," records the sake production process at 吉田酒蔵 in Ishikawa Prefecture. The film will be screened at the Provincetown Film Festival. To learn more about this film, visit its official Facebook.

New sake books at KU: 『外地酒造史資料集』, which contains reprints of six titles, which, originally published between 1922 and 1941, trace the liquor industry and market in Taiwan, Korea and Manchuria when they were under Japan's control as its oversea territories. National Research Institute of Brewing issued English online journal The Story of Sake!
