   What am I Searching?

      Each search retrieves a number of resources, including the following:

  • Everything from the KU Libraries catalog : more than 4 million books, ebooks, videos, sound recordings, manuscripts, and more.
  • Full-text articles from more than 110,000 journals.
  • A growing collection of more than 66,000 images from the KU Libraries digital collections and beyond.
  • More than 7,700 articles and Open Access research from KU ScholarWorks, KU's institutional research repository.

To limit your results, choose just "articles" or "books."  Or set additional search limits on the left-hand column as appropriate for your search.

 

Getting Started

This guide includes searching tips and library resources that have been selected for students  who will be studying the following course: ECON 587: Economic Development of Africa.  Among issues to be covered in the course include; Economic Development Policies; Poverty; Income Inequality; Debt; Foreign Investment; Foreign Direct Investment; Trade Policies; and Government Regimes in Africa.
