Follow these steps to set up an account.                                                  

  • Visit the New York Times Academic Site License access page. 
  • Search for and select "University of Kansas--Lawrence, Kansas."
  • At the registration page, click "Create Account."
  • Complete fields using your @ku.edu email account. This email address and password will become your login credentials; DO NOT use your KU password to create your account. 
  • Follow the instructions verify your account. You must click on the link in the confirmation email. Check your spam folder if you cannot find the message. 
  • Students will be required to select their graduation year which becomes the length of access. Faculty/staff are granted four years of access. Re-authentication can be completed at the New York Times Academic Site License access page. 
  • If you previously registered your @ku.edu email address on the site, you need to click the "Already have an account?" link found below "Create Account" and log in with the same email address and previously registered password.

Wall Stree Journal

Wall Street Journal (WSJ access)

  • Licensed for KU students, faculty, and staff
How to register for access to The Wall Street Journal's website.
1 Visit the University of Kansas’ access page.
2. You will be directed to KU’s Single Sign-On. Log in to your KU Account.
3. You will be redirected to WSJ.com. Complete the registration fields using your KU email address to create your account. The email address and password you create will become your login credentials; please DO NOT use your KU credentials to create your account.
