Adding Title and Acceptance Pages from the KU Grad School

To copy and paste title and acceptance pages into your thesis or dissertation

The KU Grad School's Electronic templates for title and acceptance pages for theses and dissertations are available above to copy and paste into your document. This will save you from having to look at the template and re-create the spacing and text yourself. To proceed:

  1. Click above to choose and open the title and acceptance page templates for thesis or for dissertation.
  2. Once the document is open, click once anywhere in the page, then click Control+A (on PC machines) or Command+A (on Mac machines) to select everything.
  3. Click Control+C (PC) or Command+C (Mac) to copy the template.
  4. In your own dissertation or thesis draft, place your cursor at the top of the page where you would like the template to appear and right-click (PC) or Control+click (Mac).
  5. This will open the Edit menu. From the Paste options, choose Keep Source Formatting. (Hovering over each paste icon if you're not sure which is the Keep Source Formatting icon.)
  6. Customize the red text in the template with your own information.
