Streaming Video: Home

This guide provides information about streaming video services provided by KU Libraries. In addition to general information about the various collections, there are instructions on how to link these services in Blackboard.

About Streaming Video

Streaming video makes it possible to watch films via any computer connected to the internet.  The only requirement is a high-speed internet connection and one of the following video players: Windows Media, RealVideo, QuickTime, orFlash.

Some of the collections listed on this guide are restricted and only available to KU students, faculty, and staff.   However, these have unique URL’s with the KU proxy server, which makes it fairly easy to include them in Blackboard, an online syllabus, or distribute via e-mail.
