Members of the Shulenburger Office of Scholarly Communication & Copyright are available to University of Kansas researchers to assist with public access policy compliance.
- We can verify that publication contracts will permit compliance with your funding agency's requirements and recommend language in case the contract needs revising.
- We may assist with understanding the details of where, when, and how to comply.
- We may refer questions to the Data Services Librarian as needed.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the funded researcher to ensure compliance with the policies. OSC&C personnel will provide information and guidance but will not deposit on author's behalf. We are happy to work with author's to deposit work into KU Scholarworks (which is compliant with DOE's article availability requirement).

- DMPTool Funder Requirements lists public and private research funders requiring data management plans and provides templates and sample plans for many funding agencies. DMPTool is a service of the California Digital Library.
